What is the average length of stay?
Most of our students can complete our graduation requirements within 9-12 months.

How much contact may we have with our son?
After the initial 2 week orientation and reaching level 1, all of our students will have 1 weekly family phone call, and 1 weekly family therapy conference call at level 3. Students are also required to write once a week to family and approved members on their contact list.

Can we visit our son?
Yes. Level 2 students are eligible for off-site visits. Level 3 students are eligible for home visits.

Is Storm Ridge a boys only program?
Yes. Our age requirement is 13-17 years. All of our students are evaluated before admission.

Are you a licensed Residential Treatment Program?
Yes. We are licensed by the State of Utah, Department of Human Services. We also hold National Accreditation by 'Northwest Association of Schools and Programs' for our academic program as well.

There are 5 criteria for students attending Storm Ridge Ranch. 1. Oppositional Defiance 2. Truant or failing at school 3. Family issues - poor peer groups 4. Experimentation with drugs or alcohol 5. Depression or lack motivation

Can my son earn a high school degree?
Yes. Because we are accredited as a specialty school, we can offer a high school degree, prepare students fro the SAT and ACT tests, and 100% of our credit hours are transferable to any school in the United States.

Is your tuition all inclusive?
Yes. From therapy to room-and-board, the tuition price is $4950.00 per month.
